Tan Cang - Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) Welcomes CTP Service - Enhancing Intra-Asia Connectivity and Strengthening Regional Supply Chains

The CTP service connects major economic and trade hubs across Asia, including Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, China, and South Korea, with the following rotation: Busan → Qingdao → Shanghai → Laem Chabang → Cai Mep (TCIT) → Manila → Busan. With an estimated transit time of approximately 9 days from Cai Mep to Busan, the service provides a fast, flexible, and cost-efficient shipping solution for import-export enterprises, enabling improved planning and optimization of regional supply chains.

M/V MARINA ONE – The maiden call of the CTP service at TCIT

Amid rising fuel costs and ongoing volatility in the global shipping market, operational efficiency remains a critical factor for both terminals and carriers. TCIT once again demonstrated its high-performance terminal operations by completing the handling of M/V MARINA ONE within 7 hours, achieving a total throughput of 1,336 TEUs. This performance contributes to reduced vessel turnaround time, enhanced schedule reliability, and cost optimization for shipping lines and customers, while ensuring seamless and stable cargo flows.

The introduction of the CTP service further reinforces TCIT’s role as a strategic deep-water gateway terminal in Southern Vietnam, as well as a primary hub within the intra-Asia logistics network. Through the continuous expansion of service portfolios, TCIT enhances its connectivity, strengthens service value, and supports the sustainable growth of the import-export community.
