SNP is now at another level of development with new visions, missions and objectives. We focus on fostering our 02 core businesses being terminal operations and logistics services thanks to the following 03 basis.
Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) has been the leading terminal developer and operator in Vietnam and currently accounts for more than 85% of Southern container import–export volume and almost 50% nationwide. SNP aims to provide the best port and logistics service package, most convenient for customers. SNP has a port system that stretches across the country including: Hochiminh City, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Quy Nhon, Hai Phong as well as diversified high value-added services such as inland haulage and waterway transportation, mechanical services, information technology, customs broker, pilot, towage, and maritime services. SNP also operates logistics facilities in key economic areas across the country.
SNP has total warehouse area nearly 500,000 m2 including CFS, bonded warehouses, cold storage, IMDG warehouse according to international standards to meet the needs of Im-export customers. SNP currently provides multimodal transportation services to meet requirements of customers on the basis of the strength of the water/ inland transportation capacity. The waterway transportation company has 50 barges, with total capacity of over 3,000 TEU (equivalent to 80,000 tons) are online daily service connecting Cat Lai Terminal, deep-water port Cai Mep-Thi Vai and the Mekong delta. Newport Cypress JSC also has weekly services between Cai Mep deep water port / Cat Lai, Da Nang, Hai Phong Port and Phnom Penh (Cambodia). Newport Overland Transportation (Newporttrans) with approximately 200 tractors outer dedicated transport and combined with satellite units managed through DGPS system connected to the container yard across the country, which has shortened the distance and reducing costs for businesses.
