The “Vietnam Value 2010” has attracted participation of more than 2,000 entrepreneurs. Saigon Newport have surpassed those companies and honored to be one among 43 winners to grant the award. Mr. Nguyen Dang Nghiem - the General Director of SNP representing SNP to receive the award at the Ceremony
“Vietnam’s Value” is the program deployed by the National Brand Board of Vietnamese Government and the winners of the award selected every two years. The target of the program is to enhance the competitiveness of the Vietnamese brands in the domestic and international market during the integration process, to raise the awareness and recognition of the local and foreign consumers and users for the products bearing the Vietnamese brands. The Vietnamese brands participating in the selection should be the prestigious brands which have the stable development strategies, long-term and particular policy and plan for the brand development, good development resources, good performance of the quality management and environment protection as per the international standards, strict implementation of tax payment as well as social insurance for the laborers. The winners of “Vietnam Value” have been selected on the basis of the high and stable increase of the turnovers and profits and the values “Quality- creative innovation- leadership capability”.

The award has affirmed the remarkable efforts and achievement, the right development strategy targeting at enhancing its competitiveness in the comprehensive integration of the country and the success in the building and developing the prestige of the brand stably. In the recent years, SNP has been always the leading container terminal operator in Vietnam. In 2009, the market share of SNP has made up for 80% of the container import- export volume in the South and more than 46% nationwide. The “ Vietnam Value 2010” awarded to SNP once again proved its position in the Domestic and Regional market.
It is a big honor to be the winner of the award, but it is also challenging for the SNP in the time to come to make the brand “Saigon Newport” with the commitment of the service quality successful and effective in the domestic and international market. It is the way to affirm the stable value of a national Brand.
