The official establishment of Tan Cang - Que Vo ICD in Bac Ninh

Operated by Saigon Newport Corporation (the leading port and logistics operator in Vietnam with more than 30 years of experience), Tan Cang - Que Vo ICD is located in Chau Phong commune, Que Vo district, Bac Ninh province is an inland container depot located downstream of the Duong River, adjacent to National Highway 18, located near industrial parks in Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces... The ICD has a scale of 10 hectares, barges capacity with a maximum tonnage of 160 TEUs,650 m of berth, which is equipped with 5 Liebherr shore cranes (lifting capacity 45 tons, reach of 30 m) and with modern and synchronous operating technology and equipment. Tan Cang - Que Vo ICD – Extended arm of TC-HICT
 

The objective of Tan Cang - Que Vo is to operate, trade in services, and carry out import and export formalities at the inland container depot in accordance with Decree No. 38/2017/ND-CP dated 4/4/ 2017 of the Government and Investment Certificate, Business Registration Certificate issued by competent authorities. TC-QV ICD promises to be the gathering place for the containers (both laden and empty), the customs clearance central for import and export cargoes, serving local enterprises, specially for those in Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, and Thai Nguyen, in which the same customs' system.

The operation of Tan Cang -Que Vo ICD will advance with domestic waterway barging service via Cam river, Kinh Thay River, Duong river. With the convenient connection of roads and waterways, this combined service ensures stable, environmentally, friendly logistics solutions for local enterprises. Moreover, by using barging service, customs clearance procedures, and delivering/receiving cargo at ports, can help factories be more flexible, shorten delivery time, with cost saving as the port is close to the industrial zone.

To fulfill the mission of supporting and reducing the load on road traffic routes, Tan Cang - Que Vo ICD in particular and ports on the inland waterways of Cam river - Kinh Thay river - Duong river must have a sense of responsibility to the community, to the environment, and to the sustainable development of manufacturing, importing and exporting enterprises in the area in changing usage habits from current trucking to waterway by applying green logistics solutions.

Currently, Tan Cang - Que Vo ICD has received the trust of major shipping lines/agents. There are 6 shipping lines with operation code, including: Maersk, HMM, Wanhai, SITC, SM Line, Dongjin. . In the future, Tan Cang - Que Vo ICD will continue to expand to more than 30ha and become one of the major logistics centers of the northern key economic zone of Vietnam.
